SCHOOL BASED SERVICES FOR AT-RISK YOUTH

 

This program partners with schools to help at-risk youth increase positive decision making skills and decrease high-risk behaviors by teaching communication, stress and anger management, problem-solving and resistance techniques to cope with peer pressure.  During the 2013 school year, we served 1,256 youth.

 

Safety Net Program – provides an intensive drug and alcohol intervention program and dropout prevention services to high-risk youth.  Services are provided in 29 high-need schools in Dallas, Collin and Rockwall counties.

 

Our Safety Net Program utilizes a research-based curriculum entitled Project SUCCESS

Family Pressures & Problems
Peer Refusal Skills
 
This curriculum is approved by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
