SERVICES
Our highly diverse staff is bilingual in Spanish and Asian languages. Child & Family Guidance Center has developed a comprehensive range of programs designed to equip children, adults and families with skills and resources needed to reduce the symptoms of mental illness and emotional distress.
Treating the whole person, with a tailored treatment plan.
A thourogh, psychosocial assessment will gather the pertinant information necessary to develop appropriate recovery goals and determine the treatment best suited to meet the individual's needs.

REHABILITATIVE & SKILLS TRAINING SERVICES
(Assertive Community Treatment Program)
In-home, intense wraparound services for both children and adults, designed to improve and restore life skills and ultimitely increase success in all domains of life functioning.
Assists individuals and families in connecting with outside support services. Medication and diagnostic education are also offered.
Conservatorship recommendation, termination of parental rights and adoption, adoption only, parenting plan recommendation for possession schedule and home studies. Completed within 90 days* and can be conducted anywhere in the U.S.
*Expedited social studies available upon request.
ANGER MANAGEMENT
A curriculum based program teaching practical applications for effectively managing anger. The program helps identify triggers and warning signs, teaches healthy expressions of anger, and develops a individualized anger management plan.
Healthy Transitions and Parents Acting Cooperatively Together are curriculum based programs teaching healthy co-parenting techniques and positive parenting skills for families experiencing divorce, separation or other transitions.
SUCCESS IN PARENTING
Curriculum based program focusing on the creation of safe, healthy environments for raising children. Redefines misguided parenting traditions and behaviors.

DIVORCE EDUCATION
PERMANENCY CONFERENCES
In partnership with Child Protective Services providing services to ensure that children removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect receive appropriate support and are placed in permanent safe homes.
SAFETYNET
PROGRAM
Provides an intensive drug and alcohol intervention program and dropout prevention services to at-risk youth. Services are provided in 29 high-need schools in Dallas, Collin and Rockwall Counties.
